					<description>[...] I was just listening to Jennifer Jones chatting with Pete Blackshaw about metrics.  John mentioned it to me on the phone today (while I was sans power because of a wee storm up here).  &#34;Tris, it's all about metrics &#8230; &#34; Enough said, I'm there.  Yeah, I'm a metrics junkie.  Web metrics, well that's been my bread and butter for what seems like forever (it would be forever to my daughter, since I've been doing longer than she's been alive &#8230; like over ten years now).  I get into discussions of metrics.  So, I'm listening to this podcast, while writing a bit too, and hoping that the power flickers don't turn into power goners, and thinking about web metrics back in the day.  I got a chance to talk with Denise and Patsi about metrics on a recent Conversations with Experts session.  And I had a chance to talk about it at Blog Business Summit too.  All these make me think about how far we've come and really how amazing it is that we can track conversations.  Conversations!
